Vitex is an eco-friendly hardwood which is creamy brown to walnut brown
in colour. It is stunning as a floor, and a great alternative to Kwila
as a exterior decking timber. Vitex does not leach the same brown staining
sap as Kwila, and ages to the same grey/silver colour. It's durability
is similar, and is a very strong timber suitable for pergolas and beams
etc.
The grain is tight, with ripples and waves throughout adding a stunning
look to this traditionally styled, modern floor.
The stable
nature of this timber means we are able to supply Vitex in the wider ex-150mm
overlay T&G. By bringing in the timber ourselves, we are able to supply
the timber in many different sizes, and can laminate to order to cater
for any over-size requests.
